Heath is a small Texas town in Rockwall and Kaufman Counties with a great deal of heart and some of the friendliest residents that you will ever meet. Part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Dallas’ spectacular skyline can be viewed from Heath. There are about 7,400 citizens in this sleepy town which lies within a 30 minute drive from Dallas. The beautiful Texas weather and the laidback atmosphere of the people make it a great place to live! There is also easy access to the business, cultural and entertainment amenities of the Fort Worth area. Heath’s a small community and is in the process of building and growing a trail system that will someday be much larger. In addition, they have two municipal parks, one of which is on lake Ray Hubbard.
For a wonderful time enjoying the outdoors, visit the Buffalo Creek Golf Club which features a par 71 course plus a variety of practice facilities on an array of rolling hills off the eastern shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. Heath also offers the community a variety of special events throughout the year including a Christmas celebration, 5K Family Run and an Annual Independence Day Parade and Patriotic Festival.
